The University of Western Australia, the first of seven Australian institutions to rank among the top 100 in the world, drops five spots to 92nd in 2021.

Monash University moves up three spots this year to 55th rank. It is ranked 43rd in the world for academic reputation and has a perfect score on the international student's indicator.

The Institution of Sydney is Australia's second-best university, ranked 40th internationally after advancing two places this year. It has excellent ratings in both the international faculty and international student indices.
